This turned out beautiful! I love how the hair came out. It is harder, but I prefer blond hair to dark, it comes out looking nicer in the end.
I've found that dark hair takes so much time. I guess all hair can be difficult really! Curly and dark hair - now that will take some time to do!

I did this commissioned pencil portrait in July of 2008. Drawing someone with blond hair on white paper can be a challenge. I love how this came out and I think it's one of my all-time favorite pencil portraits.
